Dr. Oliver Kahl
Principal
Oliver is passionate about semiconductor technologies, in particular photonics, space tech, and industrial tech. Prior to MIG, he worked at Fluxunit/ Osram Ventures and at eCapital Entrepreneurial Partners. Before that, he held various positions at his family-owned business, Jobachem GmbH, where among other things he was responsible for the foundation of the subsidiary in Hong Kong.
Oliver holds a PhD in Physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He also studied at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh, UK, the College of Optics and Photonics (CREOL) in Orlando, Florida, USA.
When Oliver is not in the office, he is likely to be found on a beach volleyball court or on his road bike somewhere around Munich.
